Moving On...

So Jackson's best friend has lived in the apartments for 2 and a half years. They moved last month and it has been different around here without them! We miss them! They only moved 5 minutes away and luckily have gotten permission to keep attending the same school! However, Owen cannot ride the bus anymore...dumb I know! So this is the last day on the bus together! They miss playing EVERY day, but it has worked out and been harder on the mom's I think than on them! They are too cute!

FALLing in LOVE with SCHOOL..

So this post is so late in coming, but life has been CRAZY. Jackson started Kindergarten...I know I am soooo old! His teacher is Mrs. Farr ( he has heard all of the jokes possible for this name from his oh so funny parents..) and she is so nice and he really likes her and is always caught making a card or a note for her too! We went to his assessment the day before school (thnks alot Cordell for having the last name starting with W!) and he did ok but had forgotten some things, but was better than most at math and problem solving..he must take after his daddy! He gave her a crad I had no idea he had made for her and she loved it! First card of the year! I of course got teary eyed, but kept it in. She could see that I was kindof taken aback at being so teary and said it's ok he is your first! You wouldn't be the first mommmy to cry today! I was surprised I even got struck with it..it made me nervous for the real day!! She finished the test and I finished the paperwork and she showed him around the room and gave him some of the rules. Then she asked him of he had any questions for her..."can I play?" Was his oh so quick response! She told him that when he came tommorrow he could play for a long time! Then She asked him if he was nervous and he said yeah and she told him that he could come to her with any problems or anything he would want a mommy for..because during those 3 hours of school I am kind of like a mommy. He liked that and gave her hug and waved goodbye and gave a loud..."see you tommorrow." He went to sleep really fast that night. because the faster he fell asleep the faster school would come! We went to zumba and he was excited to tell everyone where he was going! Callie and I took the boys to school for their first day. They were so excited and walked right to their classroom and felt right at home. I got some pics and then had to go home. I didn't cry! Can you believe it! Cameron did though!! He made a huge fit and I had to wheel him out strapped into his stroller and have him scream for his budder Ackson! It was so cute. As we got closer to the door the tears started to climb up and I realized this was the first time I had ever left my baby with some stranger and it was hard! The principle was standing at the door and saw my face and that I was holding back the tears and asked me if my son was my oldest and I said yes and she hugged me and that's when I let a couple of tears fall. She told me how sweet it was for her to see these new mommies dropping their babies off and seeing how much we would miss them! It was cute! Then Callie walked me to my car and hugged me and we both kindof realeased a couple for small tears and then I had to deal my other baby who was even more upset by seeing the car! He grabbed a hold of his stroller and wouldn't let go! He kept pointing to the building and saying Ackson Ackson! It was so cute! I pryed him from the stoller and put him in the car and he screamed and screamed, so of course we got a small ice cream cone to help ease his loss! He starting sucking his thumb after the ice cream cone and fell asleep! I had no idea it would be such a huge ordeal for Cameron! He has stopped sucking his thumb, but it took him some time to see that Jackson would come home! He also hates the bus and refuses to go with me to drop or pick up his brother! He runs away crying..he is sooo scared of it! So cute! Jackson loves the bus and just yesterday didn't sit by Owen, but choose to sit by a girl! Ohhhh we are in soo much trouble with this boy! It has been wonderful and I still to this day get excited when I see the bus pull up! I miss him!! But it is fun and I Love seeing him love it so much! Love you baby! I like to ride my bicycle!

OK so it is time to start updating my blog! It has been put aside for far too long. This video was taken back in early August and so of course by now Jackson is a seasoned professional! He is so good at riding a bike and LOVES it. He races all the big kids and even goes down the stair and off the curb. He can make his mommy a tad nervous and someday we need a helmet too! It is so fun to see him soo excited and see him growing up. Although I have my days and moments where I want him to STOP! In August we had alot of firsts...first bike ride, soccer, school, homework, bus ride and testing. I am DONE! No more growing up for a while..RIGHT? I have reached my quota! He is a such a stud and we love him so much!

A Tribute From Someone That Was There

Do YOU Remember?

I will never forget that day!! I was on my honeymoon in HI and the people there would just stop you on the street and hug you. The last attack was of course on Pearl Harbor and so the People in HI were so nice and comforting. I just remembering thinking the flyers about a plane on tower 1 were some kind of sick tabloid joke, then we noticed no one out on the beach and went into our room to see the replay of the 2nd plane hitting. I just sat on the bed and bawled while Cordell tried to comfort his new wife! I will never forget the sense of disbelief, shock and helplessness that came with watching all of those people dying. I called home and made sure my dad was safe (he flew alot) and just wanted to be home with my family! We were dealing with the flight lockdown and stuck there for 4 days. We were on the first flight out of HI and it was a midnight flight, everyone was on edge and we had to go through 8 hrs of security. The people behind us in line were complaining about the wait the whole time and I was so upset with them I could barely stand still. We prayed before we took off and the person to my right asked if he could join in our prayer. We all loved each other and felt pain and sorrow for each other. Our country turned their hearts back to God and the importance of our freedom in this amazing country we live in! I have been watching tributes all morning trying to find THE one that I would post and it was so hard to chose just one! Words cannot express the pain and sorrow I feel for all of the brave victims and the ones they left behind! I love this Country and am so proud of those people fighting for our freedom! They know what they are fighting for and feel honored to do it! May God bless America and may all of us take some time out today and REMEMBER how we felt and not just bring those feelings back today, but everyday! REMEMBER!!
