It Begins.......

So my children found a Walmart toy ad! Oh dear!! The pointing things out soon turned into circling and add a J or a C for the specific things they each wanted! Of course Jackson "helped" Cameron circle everything "he" would want lol! This is one of the only things I have a hard time explaining..... I told Jackson that Santa might not be able to give him everything...his reply, " Oh I know mom, he has the elves make them." Why worry about the money side of the argument when they just make everything. So we had to go back to basics.....you don't get everything you want. And the things you do get you need to be nice and earn them. Cam of course wanted everything his bro wanted and then some. my oh my!

A Suprise Fo Mommy

All I can say is....um thanks. Not so in love with the amount of stuff I had to help put away, but it was cute! Cam was the one who used it's full potential! We snuggled down and watched Mickey's Christmas Carol. All in all a warm and snuggly-fun memory! Thnks guys!

Cameron Starts School....

Cameron had tubes put in his ears almost a year ago and during that time we found out that he had 36% hearing loss in each ear. Well we have come a long way!! His hearing has now been restored, thanks to the tubes, and he is doing much better. The only thing is that his speech and the patterns he learned while he couldn't hear has become an issue. SO....... he qualifies for a speech program here in Springville called TLC. his first day was Nov. 4th and he really likes it. We go every Thursday at 12:45 and hear a story, do an activity and have one on one time with the speech therepist. He gets to take activities home and we work on it here. He loves to show Jackson what he makes at HIS school.

He is only 3 so of course he gets really frustrated and can act up, which frustrates mommy of course! But he is getting bette every time! He can say his name now and will even stop talking to think about the sounds. We have only done C --kaa sound and the F sound, but we can already see a difference! Keep it up Camers.....it will come!!

Trick or Treat!

What a wonderful night! We started by a visit to my parents and then drove back to Springville to find Hail, wind, and puddles of water eveywhere! I of course was not happy. I stress over Halloween and I wanted my kids to have fun trick or treating! Luckily it "cleared" up and turned out to be cold, wet. and fun! Jackson did not want the night to end and Cameron really got into it this year! He ran all night trying to keep up with big brother. I loved that at EVERY door cameron said...trick or treat...I'm Buzz! If someone called him by Cameron he quickly corrected them...."not Cameron...Buzz." Jackson had lots of fun showing Cam the ropes and they both got TONS of candy! So all in all a great night!!

A Totally "Tube"ular Day....

Well, here we are again, this time with Cameron. We had been noticing his speech not really progressing so I took him to Utah Valley for a free hearing test. The tech was not the greatest. He simply looked at me and asked if my husband and I had chronic ear infections growing up and I said yes and also replied that his brother had had two sets of tubes in. He just said "well crappy genetics." Can you believe it? Then without explaining anything just said that Cameron had failed both ears and that he had 36% hearing loss in both. Then he just looked at me. I had to lead all the the questions and get all the answers, all while trying not to cry. So we saw my ENT Dr Ence and he said that it would all go normal after tubes because of his age and all the fluid that is in them right now. He made me feel alot better and even called the Hospital to complain about the tech. We arrived at the hospital, early in the morning! It was hard to kep him happy while we waited in the room and he really did not want to change into the gown! They finally got him some meds and the nurse carried him away! I ALWAYS hate this part! I waited and was so happy it didn't take to long. I heard his weak cry and rushed into the hallway to collect my baby. He was so out of it, but everything went great and he enjoyed some apple juice and a popsicle! He also insisted that he "walk" out all by himself lol. After wobbling around he finally agreed to mommy carrying him! We got home and snuggled the day away...this is of course my favorite part!! Love you cams!

I Love You...

We had a great Vday this year. We made lots of sugar cookies, we got a visit from cupid, and Cordell and I were in charge of our ward dance! We even had MArtinellis and symphony covered strawberries! YUMMY!! We had lots of fun as a family and as a couple! I LOVE Valentines!

Merry Christmas...

We had so much fun today! The boys were so good at sharing and helping each other find their gifts! Jackson was s cute little elf and helped santa alot! Jacksons favorite was his Bakugons and his Opyimus Prime. Cameron loved HIS cars and his Mr. Potato Head! We ate a yummy yummy breakfast and then headed over to visit both Grandparents! My parents had lots of fun presents for the boys to open, their favorite being the Buzz and Woody dolls, that interact and talk to each other! We were very surprised and I got a little emotional (NO) over getting a Wii! Santa was naughty this year, but we are loving having one!! Christmas day is always so fun! I love spending lots of time with family and the kids are always so happy and play so cute together! It was a great day!!

Twas The Night Before Christmas.....

We had an AMAZING Christmas this year! It is so fun having our boys getting older and becoming best friends. Jackson had to show Cameron how everything works and I loved seeing Jackson teach his little brother new things! We went sledding on Chrstmas Eve day and think we will make that a tradition! It was so fun!! Not a ton of snow, but still a blast. We had Christmas dinner at my parents house...so good. Then opened our traditional christmas pj's, I opened mine and turned around to find my boys gone, I went and looked for them and found Jackson helping Cmeron get into his pj's! No words! Soo adorable. We sang songs and it was so fun to see Jackson get into them this year and even want to help Grammy at the piano. We listened to my dad read the bible story and then the Night Before Christmas poem. Jackson really asked some good questions after the baby Jesus story and wanted to talk about it alot! We wrote Santa his note and left hime HIS cookies and Jackson loved leaving out carrots and CHOCOLATE milk for Santa! And then off to bed to dream of what might happen in the morning.....

Dreams Come True

I have been dreaming of taking my boys (husband included) to Disneyland FOREVER. Well, this month it finally happened. Cordell and I sat down and decided that now would be the best time, Jackson is the perfect age, Cameron is free (and had a blast), and I wouldn't be pregnant or holding a newborn....so we went! We found a great deal and got to spend 3 days at the happiest place on earth. The slide show is LONG, but I had a hard enough time cutting it down from the hundreds of pics I took! It was so fun! Here are our favorite memories from the trip.... McCall.... Walking into the park and having all those memories of family trips hit me, and realizing that now I am the mom and am getting to create these same memories for my kids. ( those of you who know me know that I got a little teary eyed, right there on Main St. USA lol). I loved taking Jackson on the rides for the first time and even got to do a couple of first times for me! (loved CA screamin). The 3D movies were fun too, to see them and hear them react! Loved seeing how excited they were to see the characters and just loved spending time with them, holding there hands and snuggling with Cam when he was unsure about a ride. Snuggling in bed at night and just being with them! Cordell..... When the kids would see a Disney Character and be so amazed, but so shy at the same time. Just being with the boys and getting to have daddy time!! And seeing how much that time meant to them too. Jackson.... Space Mtn! He LOVED this ride! He has a love/hate relationship with Splash Mtn. but rode it 2 times and wanted to go again! He also loved Thunder Mtn. and was sad when he couldn't ride CA Screamin with mommy. He loved driving a car too! (OK he LOVED everything). He LOVED Mickey's house and meeting him and like the parades and being made an honorary toy!

He also liked shopping and helping us pick stuff out. He loved the cotton candy and the Mickey Ice cream! He told me that he loved spending time with us and getting to be "all together, for the whole, big days." He loved the beach too! Ran right into the ocean! Cameron..... LOVED Buzz! He liked the rides and was amazed when he met him! He loved all the characters! He was not to sure about some of them, but always finished the ride with a smile and a big "AGAIN."

LOVED being with his brother and doing things together. So cute to see them playing, snuggling and holding hands! He loved the winnie the pooh ride 4 times in a row and he ran right back into line for another round. So fun! He loved the sand at the beach! Not so into the water. We had a GREAT trip and miss it already! It flew by! 3 days was the perfect amount of time and we used every minute of it! My dreams of Disneyland with my kids came true and did not disappoint!

Here Comes Santa Clause......

The boys could not wait to see Santa this year! We were worried about Cameron crying and I was fully prepared to leave without a pic oh him and the big guy. They waited patiently while Santa was on his break and we were also thrilled to be only second in line! They loved watching the train and were good even when we said no to a ride on it! When Santa came out all the kids in line started to cheer and it was sooo cute! Our turn came and Cameron surprised us all by running up to him and putting his arms up so Santa could put him on his lap. They sat together so I could get my 1 free pic and told him about the cars, movies and IPODS that they wanted lol! They each got a coloring book and slowly walked away, looking back every so often to catch one last glimpse! We had dinner at Red Robin after and got to talk about Santa and how much fun it was to see him! It was a GREAT night and fun to be with my boys. They are growing up so fast and sitting at the table having a real conversation with them is exciting and sad! This was a great Christmas!

I was getting into photo position and I noticed people starting to laugh and looked up to find Cameron loving his moment in the spotlight...wow....I think he likes being the center of attention!

It was so good and they all did such a great job...even if all the boys only knew 2 words out of all the songs....it was adorable!

Jackson was a little sad about being a Shepard this year...he wanted to be a Giraffe lol!

Trimming The Tree

We had lots of fun this Christmas and got started early! The boys were really excited for their tree this year, and got really involved. They are very good helpers and I think that only 4 ornaments broke this year lol! I love little kids and trees. I have had to let control fly out the window and just let them enjoy it! I would come down EVERY morning to find my attempts at moving things into their "proper" place completely non-existent! We had fun and that is what counts!
