Go Cougs!

So my boys, like me, are TOTAL BYU fans! We got to take both of them to a bball game and had a blast. They both loved the idea of yelling and being super loud. They loved the cheering and LOVED Cosmo! Jackson got to go get treats with Cordell at Halftime and was really good and shared with everyone! Cameron loved being up so high....(after he got used to it). He also loved playing with cousins and cheering, but fell asleep in the last period. The whole time we were there I was testing Jackson to see if he was ready for a BYU Football game. I got frustrated, but had to realize that he was with 6 cousins and had lots of room to play. All in all I think he did great so a week later he got to go with me to the AF V BYU game. What a game to take him to. It was cold, but not freezing, and he got to see (and hear) the Jets fly over the stadium. He has the cougar fight song down and loves the Rah's at the end. He loved the whole stadium taking turns with the letters B Y U and really liked that we got COUGARS. He also loved the band at the beginning spelling cougars, and loved seeing the touchdowns in person! He also really liked saying 1st down and LOVED it when we all boo'd the refs. We got a pop and a churro after the 1st quarter and made a potty trip. At half-time he asked when we were going to leave. We left right before the clock ran out and stomped our feet for a 3rd down one last time. We started our way down and he took the ramp too fast (against my telling him not to) and fell. We called Noni, who came and picked him up and my fam was nice enough to watch him while I stayed and enjoyed the rest of the game with Bubba! We need to thnk Blaine for the bball tickets and the invite and Kaye and Geoff for the awesome fotball tickets. We even had really comfy chairs and extra seats from the people that didn't come! It was a great experience and made a fun memory with Jackson! Go Cougs!

FALL

So during the break between am and pm General Conference, my family took a stroll to see the leaves. I have always gone up Provo canyon and never really gone anywhere else, so we ventured out and really looked for a place closer to home. We first hiked up a hill that turned out to be SUPER steep and had to slide down it. Then we tried another area only to find it really hard....again...to get to the colors, so we were driving back home and found a place right off the road, it was easy and fun and had some nice colors. I was looking for something better, but it was fun to hike all over with my boys and let them just have fun! It turned out to be a great day!

Poor Cam Man

So we finally got Cam in for his first trip to the dentist. 2 cavities....better than his bro with no enamel, but still no fun! Se we had to set up 2 appointments and do each filling seperately, rather than pay the big bucks for the hospital version! He did so good! The assistants kept coming in just to see him and how cute he was being! We got lots of attention and on the way out lots of hugs and coins for prizes! I have never had to get a filling and just seeing the tray made me feel so bad for my little guy! What a trooper, I can't even bare my teeth cleaning! I was nervous for the second visit (Oct. 28th), because I thought he would remember the first one and not even sit in the chair, but he suprised me yet again and did even better! This time he didn't try to take off the gas, he just kept pointing to it and saying "nose". He is such a doll!!

BOO!

So Halloween was so fun this year! I gained 5 pounds! If that tells you anything lol! We did our pumpkins earlier this year so we weren't so down to the wire and had fun with the boys helping us ALOT this year. We had been sick for 3 weeks prior to Halloween and Cordell still to this day has a pretty hard cough. We did our wards Trunk or Treat in the afternoon and then went to eat at Carls Jr. (I didn't feel relaxed enough to make the stew). We went to my parents cul-de-sac and Jackson really got into it this year. He didn't want to stop .....we finished up 2 streets at my parents, before I bribed him with seeing his friends at their houses. Then we said our goodbyes to my fam and headed out to our own ward. We didn't go home until 9:00! We started at 3! Even Cameron hung in there and only got in the car twice! He did however want to grab the candy himself and it was hard to explain the whole let them hand it to you thing! They also loved watching It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. It was so fun this year! I was a little bummed at our costumes, only a few people really got who we were, I could have done better, but oh well right? We did however go to one house that had an actual rented out haunted house. Our boys wanted to go in and I was so nervous that they would forever hate Halloween after....they LOVED it! Jackson wanted nothing to do with the scary guy at the end, but no tears. He was also very proud of himself for going in and being brave like daddy! We tripled our own candy, due to the lack of trick or treaters and I snacked on it until....yeah it's gone! We also had fun at the Ward Carnival and I personally LOVED doing Thriller for 2 different Wards and having it be a HUGE success! I will post that video tonight too! We have calmed down a bit and I did finally make the stew lol! Now onto the ward Christmas party lol! Wish me luck!

Were NUTS....And Goodbye Rocky!

Ok so in catching everyone up with the last 2 months of our lives, I cannot leave out Cordell taking the boys pine nut hunting with his family! This is something that I really hope becomes a yearly tradition! Of course, everyone that went thinks I should go before I make it a yearly trip lol! I was sad I missed out, but got more Megs time while she was here! Jackson had so much fun working with his daddy and cousins! He really got into it and took his own pics too! This trip is where we also found a new pet lizard. Jackson named him "rocky." I thought it was such a cute name too! Sadly I need to post with this that Rocky got sick this week and died yesterday! We were all very sad and Jackson fought back the tears when he demanded to be the one to flush him. Then right after we said our farewells, Jackson turned to me and said..."now what kind should we get?" Ahhh lovely! Not until after Christmas, at least. I just fill bad that Rocky was sick and suffering for 3 days! I tried to read up on what I could do, and even tried the bath soaks and the force feeding and everything, but I guess he just needed to go! So Rocky we will miss you!
